In November of 2003, Reliable Security was contracted to provide design build for the Morongo Casino. When completed, it will be the 5th largest Indian gaming facility in the country and the 2nd largest west of the Mississippi. When Phase 2 moves ahead, Morongo will be behind only Foxwoods, Mystic Lake and Mohican Sun in terms of size and gaming devices.

Reliable Security is responsible for the installation of the surveillance and security system. The surveillance system numbers over 1000 cameras.

We are using a VideoBlox switch along with KD-6 PTZ’s for both indoor and outdoor use and Ganz fixed cameras. Reliable Security is responsible for design and implementation and is doing this work with their own crews.

From this picture, you can see that the main tower has 25 floors. The casino will open with approximately 3000 Indian video lottery terminal devices. There are also 80 gaming tables as well as a 300 room hotel and a 2000 car garage. Reliable Security is currently working on the design for the 9’s Group restaurant, as well as the Rain club.

The matrix switch, which is being built in our shop, is not only underway, but is completed to the 100% point. The switch will ship prewired and 100% tested. Reliable is both proud and excited to be a member of the Morongo team and appreciates their patronage.  

The observation room contains 32 working monitors along with 4 operator stations with each operator having control of 2 LCD monitors to work the VideoBlox switch and Tops digital recorder. The operators sit at the Evans console.

The matrix switch wiring shows the communication cabling and distribution amplifier jumpers for the incoming video.

As you can see from the work, Reliable Security has managed a large project with a tight time frame. As you review these pictures, you will see the quality of workmanship that is standard on any one of Reliable's jobs. Great care is taken to maintain a quality installation that will be serviceable downstream for years to come.
