Tulalip Project
Introduction
Getting Started
Wire Pull Phase
Switch Build Out
Switch Move

In the Summer of 2003 Reliable Security completed their 2-year project of the Tulalip Casino. As you go through the other phases of the Tulalip project, you will see that we have documented the various steps that we took to get to where we are at with the Pacific Northwest’s first destination casino resort.

We have included pictures to show you the size and the opulence of the Tulalip Casino. It is a 78 million dollar building and has over 200,000 square feet of floor space for Phase 1. Phases 2 and 3 will incorporate the reopening of the old casino.

Phase 3 will put two 10-story towers with approximately 500 rooms and complimentary convention space truly making the new Tulalip Casino to join the ranks of the premier Indian Gaming destination complexes such as Mystic Lake, The Foxwoods and Spirit Mountain to name a few.

This system now has over 600 cameras operating through the Maxpro switch. Unfortunately tribal gaming regulations do not allow us to show the completed pictures of the matrix switch, but if you go and look at the virtual tour for the Our Lucaya casino, the layout for Tulalip is quite similar to that.

Please take the virtual tour to see all the pictures. It is important to note that Reliable Security was the contractor for all phases of the security system, to include the CCTV, access control, and panic and perimeter detection systems. The systems were all melded together to work as one cohesive unit, providing the Tulalips with the most modern up-to-date surveillance system.

The heart of the surveillance system is controlled by the Maxpro matrix switcher, which is manufactured by Honeywell Ademco. The Surveillance Room is designed to go up to 1,500 cameras and will soon accommodate the conversion over to a 100% digital system. Reliable Security was responsible for all layouts and design of the room, to include future planning for digital installation.

Northern Lights Information Systems completed all of the wire pull. Northern Lights is a recognized Tribal Contractor, with the owner, Tina Miller-Zika, being an enrolled member of the Wind River Northern Arapahoe Reservation. To that end, enjoy the complete tour. We have just completed the Clearwater Casino in Suquamish and have several exciting projects under way both nationally and internationally.
